So glad I have this installed in my van. The driveway to the busy street is lined on both sides with tall hedges and other vegetation. It's much safer sitting in the back to drive head first than the other way around (for us and the pedestrians/cyclists on our street). I saw some reviews mentioning that they struggle to get a consistent signal, but we hooked it up to a long minivan and it was never an issue. Advantages. Pretty easy to install. They give you links to some YouTube videos showing people installing them and they are really helpful. It works exactly as advertised, lots of secure backups. It has been working for me for several weeks without any problems. The customer service from this company is top notch. They are very responsive and very helpful. Cons Not exactly a scam. I had to get a separate backup tap (inexpensive) and that was a bit of a hassle. It's not really a minus, but the camera is right next to the button on the tailgate of our van. However, you do need a camera in the middle to make sure it positions your car squarely between the rails, so it's really just an unfortunate coincidence and maybe more of an oversight on the part of the van manufacturer. Not a scam either, but the image has a slight lag. But if you retreat fast enough that it matters, you're either retreating too fast (IMO) or maybe you're being hunted by international hitmen and have no choice. I do not know. Overall this camera does what it needs to do and is fairly easy to install.
