Design perfect for boarded cabinets. Since it is attached from above, it does not interfere with the doors. Works well. It doesn't completely eliminate shadows, but it would require much more invasive ambient lighting. This is ideal if you want your board to remain unobtrusive in your home. I don't understand why some people buy this for wallboards and then complain about it. It's not designed for that. Buy wall lighting for this. It is designed to be mounted on a cabinet and is excellent for this purpose.
