After years of use and wear and tear, my first Good Cook set was reduced to 1. So this paring knife is a big deal. You're a dime a dozen, aren't you? NOT CORRECT! I've tried buying from both big department stores and expensive kitchen supply stores, but these knives were clumsy and boring. I've been spoiled - what should I do? Thanks Good Cook for being with Revain! The blades are very sharp (okay, I'm bleeding red, not blue) and the curvature of the blade is just right for cleaning. Unlike many other knife sets, the blades will not detach from the plastic handle after prolonged use. A word of caution: make sure small children don't use them - they're small enough for little hands and colorful enough to attract attention, but as mentioned, these knives are very sharp.
