Simply my favorite sock knife!

I love these knives. I bought my first one about 30 years ago (oops, I'm old) and have been using it ever since. I call them sock knives because one or two of them keep disappearing. They stay sharp unlike 99% of my other knives and come in handy for cutting just about anything. I think because they are small they are easy to handle. And they don't slip off the plate like a steak knife. I'll keep buying them when they're gone, maybe one day they'll all come home and I'll have a box full.

One of the most important and useful tools in my kitchen ❤️

These little knives are sooooo handy. When I finish work in the kitchen in the evening, there are usually three or four people waiting in the dishwasher to be cleaned. The only problem I found is that these little rascals have legs. Aha! They leave, and then they may or may not appear anywhere in our area. They don't even want to know where I found them. It's cheaper to buy half a dozen more often than to go hunting. LOL 😝 I use these little rascals more often than my expensive knives. Well…

Look Sharp: Feel Sharp

After years of use and wear and tear, my first Good Cook set was reduced to 1. So this paring knife is a big deal. You're a dime a dozen, aren't you? NOT CORRECT! I've tried buying from both big department stores and expensive kitchen supply stores, but these knives were clumsy and boring. I've been spoiled - what should I do? Thanks Good Cook for being with Revain! The blades are very sharp (okay, I'm bleeding red, not blue) and the curvature of the blade is just right for cleaning. Unlike…

Good paring knives didn't last long

UPDATE: My first review is below, everything looked fine. Unfortunately, 3 out of 4 broke within 6 months. Two blades just fell out of their hilts, the third broke the hilt (as seen in the photo) and threw the bullshit at my glasses. Thank you for existing! I vote that this is not a good product! They haven't been used roughly, we've had their Pampered Chef version for over 7 years with no hiccups. I bought this Good Cook paring set to compare to a brand new Pampered Chef paring set I just…

Easy to Use (Updated - Dangerous)

The only knives I used to have were three quick paring knives and a butcher knife from the dollar store. Those little knives got lost when I switched to the cutting board and pro collection, but I realized how much I missed those knives for peeling apples, cheese, or treats for my dog. So I ordered them and really liked the colors, sharpness and durability. It was more than what I paid for my original paring knives years ago, but they are worth it and very durable. Now I hope my friend doesn't…

Pros
  • Always Liked
Cons
  • Damaged

These were the only paring knives I could find that looked like the ones my parents had had for the last 2.5 decades, well i bought them. I'm telling you they suck! I broke two of them - the first time slicing a little piece of cheese and the second time an apple, damn apple! I wasn't trying to chop down a tree or cut a cinder block or cut a rope or anything unreasonable, it was an apple. There is one fundamental design flaw, the blade tang only protrudes half an inch through the handle (see…

Disappointment in cutlery and knife accessories

Bought these to replace a similar pair of knives bought over 40 years ago which have faded over the years leaving only one. In the frontal test with an old, blunt remainder of a knife, they left a lot to be desired. While they cut the pork chop to perfection, they made very little progress through the watermelon rind (in fact, their most common use in our house). This sharp difference was very disturbing. Although they seemed sharp, I pierced them with a sharpener and there was little…
