Review on 🔪 Efficient and Vibrant: Good Cook 4-Piece Quick Paring Knife Set, multi-color, Small by Mike Donathan

These were the only paring knives I could find that looked like the ones my parents had had for the last 2.5 decades, well i bought them. I'm telling you they suck! I broke two of them - the first time slicing a little piece of cheese and the second time an apple, damn apple! I wasn't trying to chop down a tree or cut a cinder block or cut a rope or anything unreasonable, it was an apple. There is one fundamental design flaw, the blade tang only protrudes half an inch through the handle (see photo). I'm sure this is done to save on materials and therefore cost, but I'd rather spend a little more for something that's done right and will last. As I said at the beginning of this review my parents have had the same paring knives for over 25 years which is what I was hoping for with this purchase and I was completely disappointed.
