Review on Natural Cleaner: Essential Oxygen Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide, 3%, 16 Ounce by Ricardo Malhotra

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Must have with many uses!

This item should not be missing in my home! And since I don't live near a store that sells it, I go to Revain Prime to buy it. Also, I really don't have the patience to mix higher proof H2O2 which is sometimes sold on Amazon for a lower price per ounce. Also, the higher percentage of H2O2 requires you to mix it with water to turn it into a 3 percent material, and it can seriously burn your skin without gloves and your undivided attention. And for this you need a funnel and a measure and another bottle. I don't have time for that these days. I love that I can go to Revain and order this brand and a 3% food grade bottle of H2O2 and be done! There are so many uses for food grade H2O2. Personally, I use it at home for the following: In the bathroom: - As a mouthwash. I'm allergic to mint so I can't use most mouthwashes. Food-grade Plus H2O2 whitens teeth and fights receding gums and gingivitis. (There are medical journals that back up this information. Just ask Dr. Google.) - To disinfect toothbrushes that have fallen on the floor or when my young daughter accidentally uses mine. - You can use it to clean a wound or pimple. Note: Do not apply to your face before using Vitamin C Serum. The combination of vitamin C and H2O2 creates a type of vitamin C that can age skin and cause inflammation. Just to be clear, individually both are skin safe. **Warning: This may be TMI or gross and is for WOMEN ONLY** - I put 3-6 full caps in my daughter's bath when she has a yeast problem. or vaginitis due to the fact that a young child is not as clean or "thorough" as adults. Additionally, some say the extra oxygen in the water is good for health. (I have a book that says the oxygen in the water from H2O2 is good for you, but I haven't personally checked to see if there are any reputable studies on this.) For women who can read ONLY: If you have a yeast infection However, you can soak a cotton swab in food grade H2O2 (don't use the non-food version you get from the pharmacy!) and insert it into yourself while squeezing the H2O2 out of the swab to make it soak your insides and out. Then, of course, delete it immediately. It's messy, but it works. You can do this once a day until it goes away, but it will quickly get rid of it within 1-2 days. DO NOT do this if you have open skin or a small cut for obvious reasons. In the kitchen: to disinfect the kitchen table or cutting board after handling raw meat. - for the disinfection of everything that does not rust, with which the food comes into contact. that cannot be washed in the dishwasher. (Be sure to sanitize for 10 minutes. For Plants/Gardeners: - If your houseplants are in plastic containers, they will definitely benefit from adding H2O2 to their regular watering from time to time. You can mix about 80% water and 20% % of this nutritional H2O2 (3%) in your irrigator with 80% water This keeps the soil aerated, which helps the roots get the oxygen they need, especially in non-porous or "breathable" pots like plastic pots. I do this with my indoor plants Plants that are in plastic and terracotta pots about 1 in 4 waterings when healthy 40-50% H2O2 compared to the water in your waterer Certainly some plants if you have a moody orchid, have begonia etc. start with less H2O2 and see what happens To kill disease/fungus/mold on the surface of the plant I have a full concentration of H2O2 on one Cactus cutting applied, which started to rot even before I planted it. And full power on a juicy stick. I have used a weaker ratio of H2O2 to foliar spray water for some fungal diseases. But I don't have the direct ratio I'm using in this case because every script and setup is different. If you need proportions for spraying leaves, you can use Google Gardener. - For rooting cuttings in water, a little of this will prevent rot. To keep flowers fresh in vases, a little of this will help the flowers last longer. - For succulents dying from overwatering, watering half H2O2/half water can save them. -If you have an ugly fungus like "rust" in the ground, it will kill it. But it will also kill your earthworms, so think about that before you water it in the ground! - To disinfect garden tools - H2O2 also kills poisonous spiders and ants when attacked and in distress. Note: I've used regular H2O2 on my plants, but they don't respond as well to drugstore products as compared to food grade H2O2. If you're reading these reviews, you probably already know that regular H2O2 is full of junk. So if you're a plant lover, you'll understand that your plants don't want that junk in their pots any more than you do. in your body And if you use regular H2O2 in your garden, those chemicals can get back into your body after you eat your harvest. One final note: I'm sure there are reviews here that discuss this; but other than that, you can drink food grade H2O2 for your health by putting a little in your water bottle every day. There are reports and discussions about this on the Internet. A few years ago I bought a book about it called The One Minute Cure after going to an alternative doctor for a health issue. Personally, my stomach could never get used to H2O2, but some people swear that drinking H2O2 is life changing.
