These bulbs are transparent in color. Although the color of the glass looks to be dark enough when the bulbs are off, the color emitted when turned on is not deep, more of a cool white appearance in my opinion. Still better than a warm white clear bulb but I wish the blue color cast could be deeper. If you didn’t know that blue bulbs were installed in the fixture, one could easily assume that the bulbs were merely cool white.Also, the bulb color finish is applied to the outside of the glass bulb. In my experience the finish does not adhere well to the glass and rubs off easily. use extreme caution when installing or the finish might rub off.
