Below is a conversation with Hoover about replacing the tank. In my message to Hoover, I asked if it was covered up. I was told no. I admit that I wrote the line to correct my review in hopes that the rep would offer me a replacement part at a great price. I recently had a broken element in my Shark vacuum and when I called to ask if it was covered I was told NO!
