The sound quality is not as good as expected.
I bought the CS-9060 as a matching center channel for my 5.1 channel system with Definitive Mythos ST-L and Polk Lsi-15 front and rear speakers. However, the sound of the CS-9060 fell short of expectations at mid and high frequencies. The Mythos ST-l's mids and highs are much more crisp and airy than those of the CS-9060. They play in different leagues. I did feel that the CS-9060's mids and highs were a bit muddy when listening to speech, although I tried to improve this by adjusting the bass volume. The overall sound quality can be ok in this price range, but no more than three stars.
