Obviously, I don't have the product for long, so I can't attest to durability or water resistance. I am still trying to break it in, so every night, I'm storing my mac on the sleeve to get it more smooth since as any new product is a bit stiff, but I wanted to share as when I was searching you never sure if the vendor description is to be trusted. The material is soft, feels nice, and is an excellent value for the price. Just keep in mind that if you're like me and use a backpack, this will add more bulkiness to the laptop and maybe won't fit in it.
