Review on 🍳 Gibson Home Back to Basics 32-Piece Stainless Steel Cookware Set – Premium Stainless Steel Kitchen Set by Jim Velasco

Good for my students needs.

I didn't have high hopes for this set after reading some of the reviews. However, given the exceptionally low price, I took a risk. I'm starting junior. a high end cooking lab for a home school and these sets are perfect for keeping the kids occupied until we can top up our budget. I'm glad I gave them a chance! I was very pleasantly surprised by this set. Crockery, cutlery and knives were of decent thickness and quality. The dishes weren't as heavy as my personal dishes; but no paper. With proper care and culinary knowledge, they will do well for a while. I'm not sure what other negative reviewers expected from such a low price point; but I spent over $70 on just one utensil. I paid $24 for 32 of them which is 0.75 cents each! They couldn't do better than the Dollar Store; and the quality of these items is much better than that of dollar store. If you're on a tight budget and not planning on doing what I call "hard" cooking, I definitely recommend trying this.

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • Nothing
