There are no instructions on the box or handle! Tired fingers "spread" side of the pen, no ink! It says "press" but it means "PUSH". I unscrewed the pen thinking something must be piercing the pen where the ink is stored (like my insulin pens). THEN I realized that the neon green ring in the center of the handle was a SPACER! I took it off and screwed the handle back on. I felt the pen head close to the pen, and VIOLA! I had a flow of ink. They turn translucent, translucent and dry relatively quickly to form a gorgeous sparkle that's more subtle than glitter! Now I'm going to find out how far 1 pen can go to make my coloring pages sparkle! Happy but exhausted!
