I have a short haired dog and I have no idea how easy it is to get so much hair all over my floor every day! I was constantly sweeping with a standard broom and could tell that dog hair was missing when I thought I was done. I went online and searched "best brooms for sweeping dog hair on hard floors" and came across this option more than once. You have to buy the broom head separately from the handle/handle which stinks but that was the only thing I didn't like. The broom itself picks up dog hair off the floor better than anything I've used before. I love it! The flat head allows me to get under furniture edges. I will buy it again and use it as a gift for friends who have pets and hard floors! It's not like a vacuum cleaner, but it also picks up a lot of hair from the surface of the floor mats. Buy one! You will not regret it!
