Review on ๐ŸŽถ External USB Sound Card - CREATIVE Sound BlasterX G6 by Bima แ Œ

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Fits the description completely, very satisfying.

The only thing that is not indicated anywhere and had to be searched on the net is the assignment of filters in Direct mode. I'll post it below, in case it's useful to someone. Fast Roll off - Minimum Phase: Minimum pre-call, preferred for visualization and soundstage. no smoothing in the frequency domain. stronger bass than linear phase, clean highs. Slow Roll off - minimum phase: Single-ended filter designed to minimize pre-ringing. strong punchy bass with good transient attacks. Fast Roll off - Linear Phase: The most common filter with clean overall rejection and excellent rejection, best suited for music with large transients. provides crisp clean highs. Slow Roll off - linear phase: Low group delay and symmetrical input response. less sonorous than linear-phase fast rollback. punchier bass than lpfr, with clean highs. For those who do not like that the microphone input does not work in Direct playback mode, I can offer such an option as an output. Use the microphone input of the built-in sound card. To do this, open the audio options in Windows and select the appropriate device under Audio input. And yet, in order to reveal the qualities of the card, you will need to download the drivers along with the Sound blaster command, type in the search. In the settings of this program, in the Playback section, you will need to enable Direct Mode, and set the audio quality to 32 bit, 384 kHz P. S. Now I want better acoustics๐Ÿ™ˆ

Pros
  • I hope my review will help someone decide. Before replacing the motherboard, I had a built-in Creative X-Fi SB0670 sound card. And since the pci slot is already a rarity in new motherboards, I had to listen to music for some time through the built-in sound on the Realtek ALC 1220 chip. It feels better than the usual "built-in", but still did not reach the level of my previous card. Decided to choose from outside. I re-read/reviewed a lot of reviews, and chose the Creative Sound Blaster G6. Perhaps my review will help someone decide to buy it, just like someone else's review helped me at one time. I will not evaluate the sound quality in terms of graphics. Since in the end we will evaluate the quality by ear. I will say this, even with the existing acoustics, you will feel the difference with what it was before. I have the usual active three-way Microlab SOLO 3 acoustics and the Edifier T5 pass-through subwoofer.
Cons
  • The box was opened before receiving, there was no film๐Ÿ˜Š
