Review on ๐Ÿ”ช Shun Premier Nakiri Knife, 5.5 Inch Tsuchime Blade with Walnut Wood Handle, TDM0742 by Fredrick Edwards

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I didn't think I needed a special paring knife until I bought this one.

I used to have a Shun Premier 7" Santoku and a 4" pair of knives and found that some vendors were selling some of their Shun Premier line so I expanded. I went back and forth with this particular knife, bought it or not, I'm a pretty serious carnivore so the idea of having a special paring knife was vague, especially as my santoku has an almost flat blade. I decided to bite the bullet when the very low price came out and I'm glad I did This thing is totally worth it because it slices veggies completely in one slice instead of leaving a strand hanging, unless I end up doing a very exaggerated forward motion to get past the non-flat blade. Avoid very sharp knives of course and looks great I doubt they are the top of the line knives but they work great for me. I sharpen them professionally once a year, no matter how well they hold up, you can do a Pomi slice Dora with one hand with this knife when it's sharp.
