This is a fantastic emergency radio with lots of great features. I went between this one and another. Thank you for choosing this one. For such a price you get a VERY cheap price. It has two flashlights - one on the end, the other under the solar panel. While none of them are the brightest, they provide just enough light to make this useful. The one under the solar panel activates as soon as you lift the panel. There are three ways to charge your device: USB, Solar and Crank. USB is obviously the easiest. Takes a charge from the socket or from the battery. The solar charger works, but very slowly. In a situation where you need to use the device and keep it working, the solar panel works. Just don't expect to charge it in one sitting. The crank actually does a decent job. With a dead battery, you can crank for about a minute and get ten to fifteen minutes of light. If you scroll for about five minutes, you can listen to the radio on low for about five minutes. It's efficient, but you don't want to charge your battery that way. Haha That applies to AM, FM, NOAA and BLUETOOTH! For me, that was the main argument for a small Bluetooth speaker in my office. It works great, connects quickly and sounds great. It won't beat a fancy home stereo in terms of volume or sound clarity, but for a tiny emergency radio it's perfect. This radio is worthy of being used as a bluetooth speaker. It's loud enough to fill a room and is well sealed and durable to keep on your porch or by the pool. The locking carabiner for attaching it to my backpack is also a nice touch. A little rain or water won't hurt it. Possibly my favorite emergency radio I've ever had. No complaints.
