I need to somehow fix the ties that secure the ends of the shoelaces so I can shorten them. I almost bought a custom lace repair kit, but someone suggested heat-shrink tubing and a heat gun, which are cheaper and make *much* more heat-shrinkable material. So I got this gun and it worked great; reaches temperature almost immediately, which means it starts shrinking the tubes immediately, and the whole job takes just a few seconds. The perfect solution, and this gun is *much* cheaper than the other options without compromising on features.
