Review on Deepcool Redhat CPU cooler, white/red/black by Adam Komosa ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

In general, its pretty good, an equal number of pros and cons.

Structurally and externally, this cooler is similar to my previous Scythe Mugen 3, for which I was bought. Installed on Ryzen 3500X. It has a heat dissipation rating of 65W. The cooler at idle, when the processor releases 32-37W, cools it down to a temperature of 46 degrees, and practically does not make noise. In my subjective opinion, for a cooler with the declared power of TDP 250W, this is a so-so result. In Scythe Mugen 3, the Core i7-3770 heated up under load, but at the same time there was no fan on it! Under load, the Ryzen 3500X with a frequency fixed at 3800 heats up to 64 degrees at 1100 rpm. So-so result. In general, the cooler meets the minimum requirements, but I'm disappointed and can only recommend buying a warm system - at low speeds, the cooler is not audible at all.

Pros
  • Massive Good price/quality ratio Fan 140mm Thoughtful design - special elements keep the ribs from crushing each other.
Cons
  • The fan bearing makes an unpleasant sound at speeds above about 1000 rpm. This is what greatly spoiled the impression of the cooler. In addition, it turned out to be a strong minus that it cannot be installed with a 90-degree rotation, unlike the previous Scythe Mugen 3. Because of this, it did not work out to organize the flow as expected. Fasteners are the same.
