I've gotten a lot of fly swatters over the years and lately as I have some street cats I've had a problem with hornets feeding them. I've broken every fly swatter, from the wire with the handle to the rubber and plastic. I even bought telescoping "metal" handles, which of course didn't hold up. But this one is amazing. You just have to be careful when hitting flies around screens, windows, basically anything glass or expensive as they have screws and thick wooden handles. Otherwise perfect for the job I needed it for. I kill probably 20-30 hornets every morning and evening, you'd think I'd already destroyed the colony, but the number keeps growing and this fly swatter hasn't let me down. I bought the second one just for the house and as a backup in case I lose the first while breastfeeding. Hope this helps someone make a decision.
