Review on 🎄 100 Foot C9 Outdoor String Light Christmas Stringer - Patio String Lights - Intermediate Base (C9/E17) - 12" Spacing - White Wire by Novelty Lights by Rebecca Jones

I generally don't like writing bad reviews about products but this one couldn't be ignored. Bought 2 - 100ft of filament to start with and one works fine and the other should have a short. I used C9 bulbs - didn't want to get into an LED debate. I like the classic look of an incandescent lamp. It worked great the first time I turned it on! Hung, worked 3-4 days. Then I noticed that they weren't leaving. I narrowed it down to a blown fuse. I replaced the fuse with the extra fuse that came with the kit and it blew within 30 seconds of plugging it in. I then took an extra fuse from another cable I bought and plugged it in. The headlights worked for a couple of hours, then they just stopped. Again. When I double checked I couldn't disconnect the headlights from the extension cord - the plastic melted them together! Plastic around instead of just blowing like it should. I plugged them into separate outlets and even into different switches. I've tried swapping out extension cords, really everything I could think of to fix the problem. It was nice when they worked, but it just wasn't worth the risk.
