Review on KingCamp Portable Reclining Lounge Chair With Pillow - Perfect For Beach, Patio, Pool, And Camping - Adjustable 5-Position Foldable Chaise With Heavy-Duty Design - Beige by Kyle Robinson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Nice chaise lounge. after some modifications.

It's sturdy and somewhat heavy, and hard to carry around. Also has some issues with the backrest snapping shut when you sit on it. Granted, I'm big, as in 6' 6" 300+ lbs. big, but I can see its problems might happen even with persons >200 lbs. or so. The first time the backrest whacked my back, I got up, and when my weight was off the center, the backrest slammed back down and almost flattened my finger. NOT HAPPY. The fix is easy though, just add a 3/16 Pop Rivet between EVERY section of the backrest lock. The factory only uses three, you'll end up with six. (On each backrest lock) As you might see from the picture, the backrest lock gets stressed, and bends. That makes it NOT hold the backrest in place. It's solid and secure with he added rivets, but I also added a Harbor Freight adjustable bungy cord. That also holds the backrest bar from ever popping loose, and doubles for making the chair MUCH EASIER to carry for camping etc. Wrap it with the bungy as shown, then the bar that is about 6 inches in when folded becomes a handy handle, and the chair stays closed while you carry it. Very comfy for reading or taking a nap. The bed's springy suspension system means you don't need a separate cushion. Folds flat like a camp cot if you want to sleep. The leg section will drop down, so you can sit with your back up, and legs dropped. It sits pretty low, but then that's what most chaise lounges are, so can't fault it there.

Pros
  • COMFORTABLE
Cons
  • It may not be suitable for heavy people
