No worse than Krikut!

I don't write many reviews but I think this product deserves one. I needed a small iron for sewing and thought maybe I should get a mini press instead - double duty! I was hesitant to get the Cricut Mini Press for a while because I have and love the larger Cricut Easy Press, but I couldn't justify the price of the Mini. So I decided to try this one even though there were only about 4 reviews at the time of purchase - I was taking a chance. Also, I'm not going to lie - another reason I chose it over the Cricut Mini Press is that the larger Cricut heat press I already own is mint green and almost perfectly matches it - and the cute face - that is a bonus! . The Cricut Mini Press is only available in red, which is one of my least favorite colors. I know such a trivial thing to make a decision but that's it! Well, in terms of performance, this totally exceeded my expectations. Compared to the larger Cricut heat press I already own, this one works just as well as the Cricut. It has 3 temperature settings, heats up quickly and irons my seams like a dream. It glides over the fabric so well and since it sits fairly securely on its little silicone base I don't have to worry about it tipping over like I would with a regular iron. I've also used it to attach a small HTV design to a t-shirt and it worked just as well for my bigger abs. I wouldn't normally use it to transfer to a t-shirt, but I wanted to do a test run in case I ever need to press HTV on the go without lugging around a big belly. The packaging and instructions were also of a much better quality than I expected - there were a few HTV stickers in the box. I haven't tried them but they were cute. Bottom Line: If you want or need a mini press but don't want to pay the higher price tag of a Cricut, you won't be disappointed if you go with this instead.
