I bought it in February 2018, it's been hanging in my fridge ever since. It has four mounting options (centre hanging, left or right hanging, separate position (on a stand) and a magnet. After a night inside, it accurately displayed the internal temperature (F or C). I've never had to change a CR2032 battery after 3 years 4 months. Recently I noticed the screen is getting darker. I changed the battery, had to wiggle the battery to get it to fit properly and now it works like new! Three years with one battery. I wish my phone I had such battery life! This unit alerted me when frost was forming on the air baffles on the back of my Samsung french door fridge. I noticed that the unit would not cool below 40F and this prompted me to investigate. I was able to fix the issue I've confirmed it myself and a Wrenwane thermometer to be properly chilled the next morning This thermometer gives you real confidence that your food is in the Cold properly chilled bedding and freezer. Highly recommended!
