well suited when you need to make a hole in a hard-to-reach place in leather that is not too thick

This works well enough. The punch rotates when you press the handle. If you need to punch a hole in thick skin, he will let you down. It's cheap and serves its purpose. It falls into the "you get what you pay for" category. When you need to punch through the center of a large piece of leather and the punches don't reach, this is a viable alternative for the casual user. It is not designed for intensive use.
