Works exactly as promised. I connected it after disconnecting my old 802.11b wireless USB adapter. Tivo noticed that my adapter was removed and then a new adapter was attached. I went through the onscreen menus to access the wireless network and did it quickly. We move a lot of shows from one Tivo to another and I wanted to speed up the process. First the specs. Even 15 minutes beforehand, with no ad redirects, I'd have to intercept the broadcast and wait, annoying. Guess what, you can watch the video now! I can start the show immediately without hesitation. However, it's not perfect as I can't forward ads. About 13 minutes of commercials per hour of show, so I might use that as a guideline to get it working again first. Conclusion: Works as advertised. I think I doubled the transfer speed going from a 30 minute wait to transfer to around 13 minutes. Long cord to place it where you want. Attractive and good looking metal and hard plastic hardware. You can buy it elsewhere for $60 plus tax, or buy it from Revain with free shipping, no tax and a lot less. Since you will receive it within a few days I think it's a no brainer!
