I've been making iced coffee with this for a while. I use 8 tablespoons of Folgers Custom Blend coffee, then slowly pour the water over the coffee in a circular motion, letting it ooze out and repeating until the pitcher is full. I know some people prefer to grind beans or use specialty coffee, but I don't find it necessary. I put this in the fridge for 24 hours, remove the grounds filter and then pour the coffee into another pitcher. Then I usually start with another pitcher. It makes great iced coffee. I have found that using the leftover brewed hot coffee for the coffee ice cubes prevents the iced coffee from being diluted as the ice melts. My husband thinks I put a lot of effort into making this coffee but I really don't. And if you're a coffee drinker, it's worth it.
