Love the battery test feature. I don't have a plug that is active when I turn the car off so it doesn't turn on, but I can use it in other cars that have active plugs when the engine is off and check battery levels. If you don't want the stickers on the device to be active, there are two separate controls to turn on each port and you can tell if it's on because the sticker has a blue light when it's on. Although the cover is not metal but plastic, it looks robust and not cheap in connection with the dashboard.
