Review on SEO-Optimized Toddler's Stride Rite Sawyer Fisherman Sandal by John Brouillard

Great but difficult to put on

My son has wide feet that get very hot. I love these shoes because they are essentially ventilated sneakers that look like sandals. They fit his wide feet (I order wide) and keep you cool compared to standard sneakers. However, they can be very difficult to put on as the back of the heel is easily compressed. A problem that cannot be solved by putting shoes on a baby. The overhang, which should theoretically eliminate this problem, is about a quarter of an inch less than necessary. A shoehorn is the only way to put these shoes on when my son is playing and his feet are even a little sweaty. It's like trying to put a latex glove on a wet hand. If your child doesn't sweat feet or only wears shoes with socks, you probably won't have a problem with these shoes. They are durable, the velcro is comfortable, they are flexible and well made. Despite the difficulties I am having putting these shoes on my son, I have bought 3 pairs. In my opinion, the advantages outweigh the disadvantages.
