I bought this mount for my cell phone after we moved our crib to the bed and had to remove the bedside table to make room. I used to keep my phone handy and charge it all night, and I didn't want to leave it next to me in bed for fear of fire. I needed a way to get my phone close enough to use my feeding app and hear my alarm in the morning without waking the baby. I didn't want the cord to be near my baby so I mounted the phone on the wall behind the head in the middle of the bed. So it's close to my head so I can hear my alarm clock in the morning, but it doesn't wake the baby up and it can't reach the umbilical cord. I attached one of these cable clips to the wall just below the bracket that has an iPhone charger plugged into it so I can charge my phone at night. So far it works great. It was easy to install. The mount feels solid against the wall and the phone easily snaps on and off the mount when I need to use it. I also like that I can see the alarm on my phone and snooze without picking up the phone.
