I love this thing. It's only been a month, but it stayed where I put it. I'm tired of putting my phone in different corners and either letting it walk around or worrying about spilling coffee on it. I used it to mount it on the side of my center console, off road but comfortable. Not what it was designed for, so I didn't say it. It is happy. I'm happy. All is well.

Cheap plastic and didn't last at all. I followed the instructions that came with the package and even waited a day to put my phone in. Well, one side came off and my phone fell on the tile floor and broke. Now the phone insurance deductible costs me $300. This is a terrible phone mount. I don't recommend anything.

Installation is tedious as there are 2 halves and you have to line them up side to side. The app with level tools works well according to their suggestion. I have a slim case on my iPhone 6 Plus and it still fits. It didn't stick to my wall at all. The wall has some light texture (like many painted walls) but it seems like a pretty simple use case for a phone holder. Too much money for an idea with such limitations.

I originally bought a Koala mount for my Galaxy S9+ and my wife's iPhone without considering the size. It's fine without the phone case, but the phone case didn't fit. Easy to fix. Send back the Koala mount and get the Koala 2.0 mount. It's a lot thicker and even has cool sticky rubber tabs that you can tuck in to accommodate when there's too much room. A great solution for storing my phone without taking up space on my bedside table.

I have these in the car (center console side). Keeps the phone out of sight (I have Carplay) but I can easily grab it when needed. The 3M tape wasn't strong enough to hold the textured console, so I used heavier double sided tape. I also put a pair in my RV near the bed. Got these and started installing. Pretty easy to get up. I use it with an old iPhone 6 Plus as a media control system - I use it to control/stream Plex and Spotify. Tried without the tiny case I had it in and the phone wasn't firmly secured in the holder. I put the cover back on and it fits perfectly. The cover is cheap from Wally-World. I've had mine for over a year. I use it on my boat so it stays in direct sunlight for about 6-8 months. I was told that 3M adhesive probably wouldn't hold up in such an environment. No problem. The installation is very easy. Install one side with a spirit level vertically. Insert the phone, add the other side of the phone and flip it away from the mounting surface. Bought for my daughter in college. She hung it next to her bed for easy access to her phone. It's especially great when you use your phone as an alarm clock. The adhesive strips adhere well to the painted concrete clinker walls. It's a very light and somewhat cheap feel.
