I've had mine for over a year. I use it on my boat so it stays in direct sunlight for about 6-8 months. I was told that 3M adhesive probably wouldn't hold up in such an environment. No problem. The installation is very easy. Install one side with a spirit level vertically. Insert the phone, add the other side of the phone and flip it away from the mounting surface. Then press lightly against the mounting surface with a vertical spirit level. Very easy! I am ordering a second one for a different location on the boat.
