Love these bits! I use them all the time to add drainage holes to my planters! I've used them on both ceramic pots and glass containers (pitchers and even a coffee pot!) and feel they're starting to take over. Don't push too hard, just let the weight of the drill do its job. Spray some water on the hole carefully and regularly to avoid overheating. AND HAVE PATIENCE. If you rush and push too hard, your precious planter will break! And until then, just carefully drill and spray. voila! drainage hole. Of course I have a favorite size and I've found that it takes a little longer to drill each time (I drill a lot of drainage holes lol) so I actually bought a second set!
