I bought Gorrilla flush mount valve stems for my Jeep because I thought it would be great not to have to worry about the valve stem being sheared off in mud or rocks. The idea is great, but the execution is TERRIBLE! A flush mount valve works great if you thread the valve onto the wheel tight enough that it won't rotate when you try to remove the cap. However, the fill bar required is very, very poorly designed. Look carefully at the picture, the top part of the rod is NOT THREADED. And the shank diameter is HUGE. ALSO the push pin is pushed back TOO FAR on the inside. And when you screw it onto the valve to inflate the tire, it leaks around the threads. BEWARE of this PRODUCT! 1. You CANNOT use the threads on the fill chuck and not ALL compression chucks press onto this center pin.2. You can not press the pressure gauge.3. It takes twice as long to inflate the tire due to poor seals around the inflator rod. This is a really great idea that Gorilla can fix by simply redesigning this stem, until then, BUYERS BEWARE!
