Review on 🐠 BPA-Free TRDP40 Aquarium Cleaner Siphon Pump for Original Cleaning by Mary Cole

I have three gravel/aquarium cleaning siphons, one with an Aqueon bulb, one battery operated and this siphon from Terapump. The other two will fit my 10 gallon tank and maybe the 20 or 30 gallon tank I plan to get, but I wanted something for my 2 and 3 gallon isolation/grow tanks. The Terapump's rapid water flow and large suction cross-section accelerate water changes while only sucking in water, forage fish waste and virtually no sand or gravel substrate. I use a chair to hold the bucket so it's below the level of the tank and squeeze the bulb a few times to get the water flowing. To stop it I lift the bucket onto the table or take the end out of the tank. Some reviews mention a "cheap" tube, but the price is reasonable for a replacement if needed, and the product is easier to manipulate than the heavier Aqueon and rigid battery-powered tube.
