I need this siphon

I have three gravel/aquarium cleaning siphons, one with an Aqueon bulb, one battery operated and this siphon from Terapump. The other two will fit my 10 gallon tank and maybe the 20 or 30 gallon tank I plan to get, but I wanted something for my 2 and 3 gallon isolation/grow tanks. The Terapump's rapid water flow and large suction cross-section accelerate water changes while only sucking in water, forage fish waste and virtually no sand or gravel substrate. I use a chair to hold the bucket so…

Great addition to my aquarium cleaners

I was a bit skeptical when I first opened the packaging and saw a real siphon pump. It didn't seem like the most durable product, but I gave it a try and was really impressed with how well it worked. At first it seemed to me that removing water from my aquarium was a little slow. I figured I had to make sure the drain hose was under my tank. I had an extra hose that I attached a siphon to that allowed me to drain water from my tank onto the lawn outside. The best parts of this siphon for me are

Great water changer!

I have two siphons for cleaning gravel. I have the popular Aqueon pear siphon and the Terapump siphon. After comparing performance and ease of use, Terapump wins in every respect. The issues I have with the Aqueon are the hose kinks, components needing to be assembled and disassembled before and after use, and the actual hard plastic gravel cleaner nozzle is too short for my 29 gallon tank which keeps me stuck. my forearm in the water to clear the gravel. Well, Terapump solves all these…

So far so good! suitable for aquarium pumps and filters

I am very enthusiastic and satisfied with this product. The old Aqueon pump stopped working. I had one of those pumps with a tube that had to be moved up and down to get the water flowing, so I was really hoping I didn't have to use this method, which can be frustrating when it won't start flowing instantly. I have a 75 gallon aquarium with goldfish that are dirty so I have to drain about 15-20 gallons each week to keep the tank clean. Well, this pump has literally halved the time it takes. I…
