Nintendo Switch and PS4. I also know how to get the speed I pay for. I've been using a Cat 5e cable from my modem to my router for years. When I moved away from my mom I bought a Spectrum and read a lot of reviews about falsely advertised speeds. But when reading the reviews, the people who wrote them used 10-15 year old laptops and other devices over WiFi. As devices age, WiFi output decreases over time, this is true for all devices over time. The same goes for older consoles. I completely pushed those reviews aside and decided to figure out how to deal with those reviews. So I bought three different sets of these cables and a gigabit switch to connect more ethernet devices from my router. I used these cables from the modem to the router and a separate switch. I used a USB-C Ethernet adapter to power my Nintendo Switch Lite. I also have my PS4, TV, Nvidia Shield TV Pro and computer with this cable and have one left over when I buy my PS5 this year. On my PC I first noticed my speed dropping but I figured it was a problem with the ethernet driver and I uninstalled the driver and went down from 390Mbps upload and 10 upload to 500Mbps and 25 up. I was very happy as I got better speeds than what I paid for. Speeds on Switch Lite and PS4 are reduced due to Nintendo using a different architecture when connecting to the network and requiring an Ethernet update. The PS4's base speeds are poor anyway, and Sony has barely updated them. I've seen higher speeds, lower latency and faster streaming and a smoother internet experience, but I haven't hit speeds over 150Mbps natively and 10Mbps, but that depends on how manufacturers tweak their hardware. In summary these cables are long and thin so definitely worth it for the price. A must-have for tech-savvy people who want better streaming on their devices or a better Wi-Fi experience.
