our computers are in the next room to our router, which increased our speed from around 80 to 900 megabytes per second. Since we are gamers, this is very important! I'm not sure why they ask for wifi signal over ethernet cable since you use ethernet for not using wifi.

I'm not a gamer but I passed the speed test before I changed ethernet cables and it really increased download and upload speed. I am using Windows 10 operating system and as you can see from the pictures it makes it faster. I will use another cable to go from my wireless router to my processor, hopefully it will be faster than this one. Good product!

God you're kidding, these cables have made such a difference, I wish I'd known sooner. I found out about these cables from a guy on YouTube who made videos with tips on how to get your internet working. I said hey it's not that expensive I'll try! MY GOD. I couldn't believe it! I get the speed I pay for and sometimes even more. I'd also like to note that my router isn't even one of those new fancy models, it's a cheap old one. lol These cables are awesome ❤

I'm having trouble with my new Xfinity Wi-Fi Router, XFi, 300Mbps (Extreme) plan. I just used the modem/router they gave me and at first I was connected to Cat5 and only got up to 60Mbps and with Cat6 I got the same. So I looked around and researched this particular product and now I've plugged it in and run a test. I wanted a CAT 7 ethernet cable and read that Vandesail is a top brand. I bought two packs of 1 meter and two packs of 3 meters. There are Chinese letters on the packaging which made me suspect they might not be original. I ran speed tests before and after using these cables on my iMac, Xbox One S, and iPhone 6s Plus. Well it's a cable right, just plug in both ends and you're good to go. A lot of people in the IT industry have told me that I don't need the Category 7 for home use and that the cheaper Category 5 would be just as good. When I replaced my old Cat5 cables with these, I ran a speed test and the PC download speed increased by 400 percent and the upload speed roughly doubled. Efficiency wasn't as great on the Mac, but download and upload speeds increased by about 50 percent. I don't know the theory
