Review on Ignition Switch Start 50 250CC Motorcycle by Nigel Morris

Honda hr-t 3811 restoration. Obsolete, spare parts available but at a great price. You need an ignition/starter switch. OEM Price, $92.00. No way! Found at Revain, $13. Didn't fit, had to enlarge the hole. The wiring harness was a few inches shorter. Spliced in wires to extend it. The good news is that the connector fits Honda. There were no wires, but the spade terminals were moveable. Now for the bad news. After about 20 starts the starter switch will fail when hot, this CANNOT be a switch failure as it is mounted above the muffler. Would I buy again but would adjust the thermal protection.
