That's good, just a few questions. In a camper where it is DARK at night and you are trying to sleep, the LED will shine blindingly bright in total darkness. Maybe some people want it or use it outdoors etc. Even with the black tape over the LED the light was that coming out of the cracks of this thing, very bright and throwing light everywhere, way too much. I removed the cover after 1 night and of course the clips broke - but YES you can break the LED off the board (careful) and it still charges, still works! I reinstalled the cover with 1 of the 4 remaining clips and some RTV sealant in case I had to remove it again. All in all it's good, but you might want one with no LED, just two regular USB charging ports if you plan to use it in a dark campervan at night - but the two ports and high amps are a plus, so it worked out good for me after removing the LED.
