I used this to replace the cigar lighter socket in the cabin of my Goldwing. It is good that it is flat and does not interfere with the wiring behind the closet, and it does not take up much space in the closet. The bad thing is I didn't notice if there was an indicator to show which way the USB cable needs to be plugged in and since it's narrow it's kind of a PITA for plugging in cables. However, it's a lot better than what I had before and it's a shame they weren't available years ago.

That's good, just a few questions. In a camper where it is DARK at night and you are trying to sleep, the LED will shine blindingly bright in total darkness. Maybe some people want it or use it outdoors etc. Even with the black tape over the LED the light was that coming out of the cracks of this thing, very bright and throwing light everywhere, way too much.
