I reluctantly bought one of these monitors. I didn't want to bitch about dead pixels, cheap production and dead monitors on arrival because of the negative reviews. When I received it, it was immediately clear that the monitors are quite fragile. It's not very durable compared to other monitors I've bought purely for gaming. When I plugged it in and found the correct ICC profile on Acer's website, I was blown away. The picture quality is excellent, the colors look great. The curvature is slight, doesn't take long to get used to, but looks very professional. • GAMES • HDMI port not working at 144Hz (very common) • Displayport works well at 144Hz • Displayport cable included Monitor works at 144Hz • Response time is excellent • Games look very good • G-sync works great • Over Drive only works over HDMI, but I found I didn't need it. • If the monitor settings are not properly adjusted along with the ICC profile, ghosting will occur. In general, I was very satisfied with this monitor, despite the lack of reliability. As a result, I bought another one and installed both on a dual monitor stand. It adjusts inward to compensate for flex and looks amazing. I don't have a single complaint about the dual monitor setup with these monitors. Definitely a great and more affordable option for those looking to get 144Hz on a budget.
