At an input voltage of 12.22V this used 194 watts. This exceeds the rating of the relay I need to connect it to and that is way more heat than my project needs. I was expecting it to be 150W MAX, but most likely 75W - given all the reviews for this type of thing. You exaggerate the power. I can't do anything with a 200 watt heater. The wiring to the actual heater is thicker than intended, which is a good thing, meaning you can probably run it at 15 amps if you plug its wires into something of the right caliber and don't burn your house down. He goes to a box with useless things. Oh yes, you should probably upgrade the fan if you want to use this device. Very little airflow. Even if you don't need a lot of airflow for your project, it would still make sense to direct the heat away from the heatsink instead of letting it build up at 200W with barely any noticeable movement.
