Review on 🐱 Proguard Pets Softie Feline Muzzle by Becky Guyer

One of my bunnies, Squiggles, is more excited than my other bunnies. I got her from an inexperienced 4H breeder who I believe was still learning temperament breeding. She loves to be petted but sometimes bites hard while I hold her. It will just come out of the blue. I gave her Sherwood Rabbit Pellets because I heard they can make rabbits cuter and healthier and it helped a lot, but she still bit sometimes. (Seriously, I swear by Sherwood Pellets and following their nutritional plan for both rabbit physical health and temperament, this is a miracle rabbit food.) Anyway, back to the muzzle: I originally only got it because it the teeth keeps me away, like a clean muzzle. But then I found that it really calmed her down and made her happy. She makes her happy breath and rabbits "chew" (it's like a cat's purr but with a slight gnashing of teeth), which rabbits do when they're happy. I also bought a net muzzle, but she wasn't always so calm and gnawed at her. She doesn't chew it. She doesn't try to take it off. So it was a pleasant surprise that this solved the overbite problem simply by reassuring her and making her happy and protecting more than just a barrier between my skin and her teeth. It seems to have a neurological effect on her, reducing her anxiety and making her happy. Maybe because she can't see, maybe because of the slight pressure on her head, or maybe both. My husband likes to keep her now because she bites longer. Always. We are all one big happy family. She lets me put it on without a fight and sometimes even sticks her face in it. She gets aroused in a good way when I talk about it because she knows it's stroking time. I will buy another one as a backup. Although designed for cats, it fits perfectly behind their large bunny ears. I bought a small one, it's about £5, Holland Lop. She also looks kind of ridiculous, which is honestly part of the charm.
