Review on πŸ“Έ Patriot A1 / V30 Micro SD Card for Android Phones and Tablets - 128GB, 4K Video Recording Capability by Trae Joubert

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This budget card far exceeds the minimum specs it was designed to, and at a great price!

I bought this Patriot EP (PEF64GEP31MCX) 64GB SDXC card to use in my Fimi X8 SE 2020 drone working in 4k at 30fps with up to 100MB (megabits) per second. This card also works well with any Hubsan Zino drone, DJI Mini or Mavic series and even Autel EVO II with 8k camera. It is also suitable for new generation dashcams that record in 2k or 4k format, as well as home security cameras with internal memory via sdxc cards. The card itself is designed for at least 30 MB (megabytes) per second. It easily reached that rating when I used my Uni USB 3.0 card reader. This wasn't enough when using the built-in media reader, so be aware of that possibility. Actual speeds may vary based on your device's capabilities. The formatted size is about 58GB. When formatting, a part of the declared capacity is always used. Also note the difference between MB and MB in terms of speed. 8MB = 1MB, so a write speed of 100MB/s drone is not a problem in this case as it is only 12.5MB/s. And finally, I always recommend formatting the card on the device that is going to be used. That is possible. Actual speeds may vary based on your device's capabilities.
