Review on iCarsoft OBD2 Scanner, BMW/Mini Code Reader and Car Diagnostic Tool BMM V2.0 with Oil Service Reset, EPB, BMS, DPF, SAS, ETC, OBD II - Updated Version of i910-II by Richard Deng

I bought this scanner because I have 3 BMWs and I wanted to learn as much as possible about them and troubleshoot any problems that arise. I could get a cheaper scanner but this has to be one of the best. Arrived on the 12th. I opened the box and was happy to see it was the right one. After reading the instructions, I went to my car and plugged it in. The first thing I see is an error message and it doesn't let me do anything. After 5 more attempts to connect and disconnect it, I get a screen saying it's in update mode. I come home, go to the website and follow the instructions to update the software. It didn't do what it was supposed to do, so after 2 hours I had enough. Shouldn't the product work right away? I think I should Do not buy this Icarsoft scanner. I'm sure there are better ones. I know I'm looking for it now.
