Turning old clothes into new

There was a pair of old white and gray shirts with faded lines and noticeable armpit sweat stains. Although I like these shirts a lot, the one with the sewn-on branch is hard to find anymore. I like light green shirts. I bought light green color and it's like 2 new shirts. It worked great. Nice even coloring, buttons are only slightly tinted. The stripes on a shirt are less faded. Also, the branch pattern on a shirt used to be the same color as the rest of the shirt. It was very subtle, barely noticeable. I don't know why but after dyeing this part took on a much darker shade than the rest of the shirt. I think this thread is different than the rest. It doesn't matter though I like how it turned out. A fairly simple process. Boil water, remove from heat, throw in paint, throw in clothes, stir, take out, rinse, wash. Boom, new shirt.

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • boring packaging
