I used two different tweezers. I removed unwanted hair from one. I also used the pointed one to pull out a sliver of metal that got stuck in my finger and it worked. If they last a year I'll be happy. They appear to be of good quality. I think they are comparable to the ones I got from Target or Walmart which were more expensive per pair of tweezers than the 4 I got with this set.
