Review on Lisle 20610 Inline Spark Tester by Jeff Figueroa

Bought to troubleshoot a mower that won't start. My first attempt at using this was on a sunny day in partial shade, I didn't see the light flicker. To confirm, I tried again in the evening when it wasn't that bright outside and the lights were actually flickering. Therefore, it is advisable to shade the device when working outdoors so that you can see the light as it is not very bright. The 90 degree fork end cap was too long to fit the short lawnmower fork so I trimmed it down a bit to fit. It would probably be good for auto work or with longer spark plugs. A useful tool that is always at hand and well made. I deducted a star for the low light and lack of a storage bag; It is shrink-wrapped on cardboard making it impossible to remove and keep the instructions on the back.
