I have no idea why the negative comments. I guess some people are just unlucky lol. For the price it's nice and really 8 ounces. I don't know if you can tell, but yes, the bottle is labeled 1 to 8 ounces, which helps. I add castor oil and some olive oil for myself, but you can use whatever you want. When you open the packaging you will see a red cap and all you have to do is pull on it to open it, but there is also some plastic covering the inside of the nozzle at the top and I used a thumbtack to open it. that everything is fine! .
