It's hard to imagine how this could have happened but this visor does not go well with the latest version of the Bell Custom 500. Leaf spring when trying to engage the visor. In my case, this created enough spring force that it was impossible to latch a third latch, no matter which two latches were latched first. I fixed this by sanding down much of the corners of the visor until they made contact with the gasket when it snapped into place. The visor works well now, but it required a significant modification and that was definitely an issue. Given that the Custom 500 is one of Bell's most popular helmets, it's hard to see why the Bell visor wouldn't fit.
